7. The Registry
The Brisbane Registry Ceremony Space
If you’re after a more laid back ceremony the registry is the perfect spot for a quick, intimate wedding ceremony or elopement. The Brisbane registry is located on the 32nd level of the 180 Brisbane Building at 180 Ann St and has beautiful views of the city and surrounding hinterland.
The ceremonies are extremely efficient and the registry allows a 30 minute window for your ceremony. Basically you have everyone arrive at the registry 15 minutes before the ceremony starts and the staff will direct everyone into the ceremony space. They also give you 5-10 minutes for some family photos after the ceremony has wrapped up which works really well.
There’s also a number of different locations close by to the registry for photos with you and your partner along the city streets.
The space is modern and has aircon which is also perfect for summer weddings and elopements.
A lot of couples have been having their wedding at the registry lately as the simplicity has sparked a lot of interest. Having a quick ceremony and their reception at a local bar or restaurant. Perfect for those who prefer to have their wedding day as just a nice get together with their friends and family as opposed to anything over the top.
7. Customs House
